As a wedding planner I am always looking for something more to help the wonderful couples out there that are engaged and preparing to tell their unbelievable stories to family and friends. So I had this thought in the back of my head for some time, but just could not seem to find the right person to share the vision with.. until now when Nick came along from Blue Sky Weddings and Events. Then everything just went poof- like a big fluffy cloud. With some extra imagination and the help from my new found associate we were able to come up with a way to present a seminar for the savvy couples that are engaged! As Nick mantra is, "Got Savvy?!

We are so honored to be able to be having this event at the Hilton in Burlington Vermont on January 22! and guess what they are letting us give away a free overnight romance package- can you believe it! One lucky couple that comes to our seminar to listen and not to mention have some champagne will win an overnight stay with their future Mr. or Mrs. 

Oh but that is not all, Nick and I wanted more, after all we are wedding planners and when we plan we go all out for the couples. Both Nick and I wanted to start this seminar with a pop and that pop is Colleen Keurth from Truly Noted- she does unbelievable invitations! You see the ad above- well that's her work! Yep I knew as soon as the seed was planted I wanted to ask Colleen to jump in and share her secrets with all the couples that come to this amazing seminar!

Lets just recap here. Not only will you have 2 event planners there to talk to you about tips & tricks about the journey into wedding planning, but you will also have a session with Truly Noted on how to make some amazing invitations and much more. You get a tour of the amazing waterfront Hilton in Burlington with some champagne to go with it, and if your still present at the end you could win the prize of an overnight romance package with your honey! What more could a couple want!

Honor, Pride, and Service

Honor, Passion, Pride all words that describe the armed forces that protect us, that give us our very freedom and who serve with selflessness.  I honor these men and women and throughout my life I have said many a thank you, and sent out many hugs of gratitude. I for some time now have wondered what can I do that is beyond – that gives back just as they have given so selflessly to us. Then I realized as a wedding planner I have something from the heart that I can share- a wedding. I can help someone who serves our country begin another journey with the one they love. So a few months ago I set out to find amazing VT vendors to participate in a Vermont Bride Military Giveaway.  I am honored to have Ye Olde England Inne not only hosting this event but also providing the meal for the lucky couple and their guests. I am humbled by Vermont Bride Magazine, Polis Photography, Truly Noted, Sweet Crunch Bake Shop, SuperSounds DJ, Uncle George Florists, and Weddings Tents & Events, who are all donating their time and specialties for this amazing giveaway. This is a time where we as vendors can come together and give back to those who have given to us. One lucky couple will get this beautiful wedding in Stowe and I feel so blessed to be a part of an amazing team that will make it happen!
