Imagine yourself on the morning of your wedding hearing a bubbling brook or waking to the smell of hollyhocks and being surrounded by mountains. This is Vermont. When I became a Weddings and Events planner here, I did so because of the endless beauty that I see on a daily basis. Beauty that does not come from just the mountains, rivers, and lakes that are here, but from the landscapes of the wonderful barns, wineries, inns and restaurants. I have the privilege of living right here in Lamoille County where every morning when I wake there is sure to be some kind of inspiration peeking through one of my windows. I was lucky enough to marry in August of 2009 at what I think is one of the most beautiful barns in Lamoille County, The Barn at Boyden Farm, which was beyond beautiful. Many of the venues that brides & grooms and us wedding vendors are privileged to go to have what I like to call a rustic simplicity with a WOW factor.
Where else other then Vermont can you have a view of the mountains, the flow of a brook, river, or lake, and the smell of endless flowers for a summer time wedding. Vermont is all about the four seasons and you get to pick which season best suites you, which color combination best reflects your personality, style, and character. What flowers growing in the current conditions are you most interested in. So when you think about having your wedding think about those bubbling brooks, amazing wildflowers, and crisp morning air that will awake your senses, as this is all a part of Vermont and your day.
